Merchant Deposit Schedule

For Visa, MasterCard and Discover payments batched prior to midnight (regardless of time zone), the following deposit schedule applies:

• Monday deposits on Wednesday
• Tuesday deposits on Thursday
• Wednesday deposits on Friday
• Thursday deposits on Monday
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday deposits on Tuesday

The only exception occurs on Federal Reserve holidays. Then the deposit day would be the next Federal Reserve business day. For example if Christmas falls on a Thursday then Tuesday’s transactions would not be deposited until Friday and Wednesday’s on Monday.
